So I have been very busy since the beginning of 2011. Life is a crazy thing don’t you think? I think that every day we make choice that we are either going to keep going down the road that we are on or we are going to move in a different direction. I really do believe that we make things happen in our lives but let me also say that I believe that divine intervention I believe also takes are part in this as well. I do believe that there are things are destined to happened to us; but I also believe that there are things are we are suppose to reach out into the world grab for ourselves. As some of you may not know when I was laid off from my job in July I really did not know what I was going to do for work and or money. The more that I thought about it though I knew that I did know what do to do what I had been doing, as much as I liked it I knew that I wanted to do something more. As you know the point of my BLOG is about LGBT rights. I am now working with Equality Maine and will be doing public speaking event with them, I will be attending a meeting about being on the board of Outright. This is a program for the youth of the LGBT community. Kids who may have questions about their sexuality, who they are as people, what it is like to be gay and live as an out person in the world, I absolutely believe in this program and that this program can/will save the lives of many of our youth. Along with this I have been working with a close friend of mine and making some new friends along the way of this journey; however we have been working on a new gay radio talk show. It is still up in the air as far as if the show will actually air. I am sitting here at the moment waiting for calls from the studio to tell me. This is a very exciting and yet nerve racking time at the same time. Lets me our fingers and toes crossed please. I will explain more about the show when I have more information to give you. However I could tell you what the show is about. The show is about real people with real problems making real changes. We want to talk about current events, politics and how they affect us, movies, art, literature, and charities. All of this based around the GLBT community and our supporters, we would like to travel to meet influential people who are making a difference everyday in the lives of people like the Trevor project. Interview people who are from the bible belt about homosexuality in their community and try to show them another way to look at it or maybe we can get a better understand of how they see it. Talk to real everyday people who are dealing with AIDS and how there life is really affected. Send someone who maybe doesn’t understand that this lifestyle isn’t a choice to see the Laramie project, get their views before and after this amazing play. We have many more amazing show ideas but of course I would love to hear yours. Until next time, Peace and love to all!!
